    Should be a doddle in July.

    When I went up (in the snow) there were guys running all the way up :love30: and two carrying a Dalek up as well. :yahoo:

    I've been told someone carried a piano up years ago as well. Eeek!

        Congratulations!
        It's a horribly long slog to the summit and poor visibility doesn't enhance the enjoyment.

        Yes a long slog as you have to start from sea level to get to the 4000ft.

        But most of the way it was so hot and clear till near the summit then chilly and still snow on top.

        But such an amazing feeling Dave.

        I have done many hill walks but this was only my 6th Munro.

        Hi Scotcat.

        Although many have done it before, it always gave me a sense of achievement to get to any peak, Scafell Pike being one of those. I'm guessing Ben Nevis is quite challenging, so well done:blue thumb:
