    Hi All,

I am still considering of taking out my lavender hedge once it has finished flowering out the front garden its about 8 or 9 years old now and it is looking tatty.

Its full sunshine spot and very well drained.

So I was contemplating Bergenia (aka Elephants ears) but so many varieties to choose from plus so many new varieties.

Even though as you all know I am a keen gardener, front garden I try and keep simple with not much maintenance if I can.

photo of what I thought it may look like , or do you think boring ? I dont mind forking out the £ as it will be in place for years hopefully.
