I live in the North Glen of northern ireland on a windy site wet site on a valley soil is clay , what apple varitys are best suited to this environment and are scab and very canker resistant ,would be interested in irish varitys but if there is any english/welsh/scotish varitys that would be suitable I would be interested, so far a james greives and red devil have not done well both got canker and scab, I have fiesta that's in same area and is doing OK and a ballyvaughan seedling I got last year so not sure how it will do , I would just like a full proof apple tree that can deal with everything , I know it's alot to ask lol

I emailed them will wait for a reply  but was interested in fellow gardeners answers as they have prob had similar issues and could give me advice based on a life time of trial and error
