    Me again and my trellis!

Along with another couple of climbers, I'd like to try a climbing rose. Which is the best one for fast growth, the trellis is in partial sun, partial shade. Would appreciate any ideas. I like the thought of white or pink flowers.

    Cheers EGW

Hello Ellie, my favourite is Alberic Barbier, it is quite a strong grower and has cream flowers turning to white as they age.

Hi, New Dawn is another very pretty one, very pale pink, free flowering, good scent. Or there's the well known white Iceberg.
If you have time, browse through one of the rose sites,eg:
    http://www.classicroses.co.uk/roses
Where you can search by colour, type etc.

If you want a nicely scented one you should go for Ena Harkness, a vivid red. David.
