Best Early Daffodil Varieties

There is just about time to plant some more daffs. What are people's favourite EARLY varieties. I'm thinking about Barrett Browning. Anyone have any experience of this one or recommendations for other good early ones? Ideally I would like a variety that will naturalise well in grass.

 

I love Spring Dawn as it's very good in part shade as well as full sun. I've just found this article which says that they're also good for naturalising in grass.

February Gold is worth a try. I've seen it do quite well planted in grass areas.

Ive got about 15 different types but my favourites are the Tete a tete`s,small ones are more cheery.

 

I like Tete a tete too. I have it growing in one of my borders but it is quite short. I want one that is a little taller that can cope with the grass verge and ditch edge that I intend to plant them in.
