What is the best way to water Moth Orchids? I think I have overwatered one of mine because all the flower heads dropped off at the same time after watering. It has since produced some more flowers but they do not look healthy and drop off when touched. How often should they be watered? I have been standing the pot in warmish water for a short amount of time every two weeks. Is this too often?

Polly I would not let my Orchids stand in water they do not like to get there feet wet .

And they do not like the cold.

I only spray my orchids with water.

    Hi Polly,
I used to have moth orchids and I found also that they like their growing medium to be VERY free draining, I had mine potted in a rough bark compost and as I watered them the water used to run straight out of the bottom again just moistening the bark, it seemed to work. They def. do not like cold.
