      Hiya WOO.

Funny you should say that. My JG this year were huge! A pity I can't say the same for the Cox though. Ah well, you win some, you lose some:)

Wow, that is a great harvest, woo.

Last year my (unknown) apple tree bore masses of fruit; this year, nowt! :noidea: I didn't make pies with my glut (although I did, eventually). Instead I cooked the slices lightly and then froze them in portions. That way I was able to use them in crumbles, pies, cakes and of course, apple sauce :heehee:

I must have the same variety as you Mum, nothing for me either this year. I feel really cheated no pies for me this year! I only had about 12 but they weren't good specimens. :partytime:for you wiseoldowl you've had a bumber crop well done!

            Jealous!

I got given bags full last year from a friend's parent's tree... Made Cider apple butter, it's a spiced apply spread. Good on toast.

It's apple time already? I better get my scrumping on...
