Found this plant whilst on holiday in Cornwall ( Along with another long searched for plant - Aristolochia gigantea!) It's something I've wanted for a while so couldn't resist. It's much larger than the typical B nutans and the clump I've bought is huge. Anyone hit any tips on the best way and time to split it? [IMG]

I had two large pots of B Nutans Var and decided to split them up last June. They had leaf damage from being put out too early and got frosted and didn't look to good, I now have about 15 small ones in 9cm pots, some with a little root and some without.
I waited till the flowers had long finished and then divided them up discarding the flowered plants and potting up the offsets. It isn't easy splitting them up unless you have a long sharp knife and then like Cannas try and pull them apart at the weakest part.
If I knew you were after one I could have sent you some offsets.(I have too many now).
