Bird Bath

    Following instructions on rspb website I built, what I consider to be a very serviceable bird bath... see picture attached...

    however despite my efforts this is what the sparrows decided was better. ..

          I bought a stone effect plastic bird bath last winter and it took several weeks for the birds to use it, even then just the occasional Starling, by Spring the others, Sparrows, Goldfinches, Siskins, and Blackbirds were all drinking from it but only the Starlings bathe in it.
          If the dog's bowl is always there then they are more familiar with it, move it and they might use the bird bath.:smile:

            Why do only wood pigeons poop in our birdbath? Just dont have any decorum i guess .? :winkowl:

              They do it in the bird seed trays too.
