 I just had a special birthday and a very special present.
    A bird box with camera.
I just fixed it up today , it takes colour in daylight and black and white at night and I am told sound. I can't wait for spring to come.
I have sited it where the old box was ,which has been nested in most years.
    So fingers crossed.
    Pics. taken today.
Still a bit of tweaking to do.

I keep seeing offers for bird box cams and consider getting one. What model is it? And can they be connected to the internet?

It is from UK Wildlife Cameras.
Yes they come with connection to pc with full video capture so you can send video to u tube etc.
                If you so need.
I am still trying to get my head around all this though, thankfully time is on my side.

                    Deep Joy.......
After weeks of looking and hoping the Bluetits would grace our birdbox...........They suddenly arrived at 6.30 this morning.
We just happened to be in the garden and saw one go in.......quickly we turned on the monitor and there they were......we watched as they brought little bits in at a time.We had to go out and by lunch time they were just finishing.
I took a few snaps, was so exited .....quality is iffy.
They seem to have disappeared now I suppose when she is ready to lay........they will return....

                      Wonderful news !
thanks Roders. Looks a bit like ours when we first started out. A bit sparse and lacking in "style" - if you know what I mean,

We too have a bird-box with a camera. The wife turned on the camera to have a look, and saw a single egg. Later on a blue tit duly sat on the egg. This morning there are two eggs. The thing is, apart from that one sighting, we've not seen any Blue Tits in attendance? I thought the eggs would be permanently sat on?

they wait till they are all laid then start sitting so they all hatch at the same time and leave at the same time not like Owls as they sit from day one and you have all sizes
