Have noticed a robin visiting my garden several times a day for the past couple of months and I have just made a nestbox in the hope that he uses it. I already have one which I made a couple of years ago and that was used by a pair of great tits this year to rear their young, hope this one does the trick also. :)

    hi pip,

robins like nest boxes that have a 'half open' front as opposed to a hole, hope thats what you've made!!

I have had one of those half open type boxes for years and never had a bird in it.:(
Each year I wait and hope but nothing.
Maybe it's in the wrong place.
