Caught this on my wildlife camera, but not sure what it is. Also caught a Blackbird on camera so as a size reference this bird is quite a bit smaller, i'd estimate around 15cm (Sparrow or slightly larger size). Part of me thought a Tree Pipit but never seen one before.
    Any ideas?

That was my first thought. However, it’s stated as being slightly larger than a sparrow?

At first I thought the same, but have attached 2 photographs to show the size of the Blackbird in comparison.
Sorry they are not good shots. The more I look at it perhaps it is a Thrush.

Thrush is slightly smaller than a blackbird but much bigger than a sparrow, it's difficult to compare on the photos.

It could be a young thrush? BTW, I’m rubbish at naming/spotting birds:whistle:

Definitely not a Thrush but it could be a Tree Pippet. I think @strongylodon put an image of one on the 'What's Buzzing or Flying near You' thread recently.
