Am looking for a mix of seeds to SOW (not feed) to provide birds with food and cover at work as part of a competition that the school has entered. Its to encourage small birds in to watching distance of the school. Can anyone help with suppliers? [IMG]

Cheers Dendrobium lots of info on that link but realy need the name of a supplier to supply probably 20 or 30 kg of seed to sow in an area that has been recently cleaned up( it was used as a dumping ground- leaves, grass cuttings, branches, flower pots even old sports equipment )The plan is to lightly rotavate the ground inbetween the trees and sow the seed.

I was under the impression that on that site, they were providing schools with seeds for that purpose? Must have misunderstood, or maybe the sheer quantity you're after isn't in their remit??

Dendrobium my take on it is that they are giving seeds for kids to grow - ie organic vegtables that they can sow ,grow and then eat thats if their mates dont come round at night or the weekend and pull them all up . Am I too mistrusting ?? :D :D

LG if you could see the amount of moss on the roof allready you would not make that remark  I gather a couple of binliners full off the carparks every week. You take your life in your hands standing near the scoool outside when its raining moss with a little rain
