    Kathy, I remember seeing them close up last year in the US and they are really majestic creatures. Your lucky to have them so near, hope they don't stampede though!!!:D

    thanks mary, woo, and strongy.
    they did have 1 bull 5 cows and 4or5 calves ,they lost two or three
    investigations proved it was to do with the amount of copper in our water
    ( have to ask more about that so don't quote me ) any way they have started
    bringing in special water for them and all doing well

    in another field the farmer has a herd of llama, and emu,and ostrich
    so have to get the wellies on and go a trekking

    I agree with strongy. It must be exciting to have all those animals within walking distance of your home.

    There is an organic farm called Rhug at Corwen and they have a herd of Bison there as well - they try to get people to pay to see them but more often than not they can be seen from the road:lollol:

    the farmer has added to his stock ,and there are quite a few ready to calf
    dont know if thats what you call a baby bison
    so looking forward to that event .will keep you posted with some photos
