    Hi all

Whilst looking out from my kitchen the other day I saw a black cap at my feeding station. Needless to say I was very pleased as I have never seen one in my garden before.

Also saw six redwings during my Boxing Day walk, even more thrilled as I have never seen one before.

Only ever seen one in my local park in the summer, fortunate to see one during the winter as a great number migrate.

Pip, it's always nice to see a less common visitor, only had one fleeting Blackcap visit this year. The ones we see now are usually from Mainland Europe, finding the UK a warmer place to overwinter.
Beats flying to Africa and back.:)
