I planted 4 Black Currant plants in a large container last year, they grew very well and have survived through the winter okay, im glad to see the return of new leaves growing but today i noticed plenty of flower buds hanging down from all the plants, what i want to know is, is this normal to happen now? i was shocked to see them there thought it would be June time to see this happening, with the weather still cold and frosty at night will this kill the fruiting off competely on my bushes for this year?
