Yours are a bit ahead of ours but there are a few ripe ones around! They are early this year, aren't they?
    Hope your party goes well!

    Mmmm... Yum!

Blackberries are still green up here but there are some nice wild raspberries about.

    Enjoy the party rosietu ;)

You lucky devil. Still very green here in west Wales, looks a lot on all the bushes around my garden but desperately need rain!

The ripening of blackberries across the country is one of the key indicators being monitored as part of climate change studies See http://www.naturescalendar.org.uk/

Yes - they are very early this year and so are Rowan berries.

Sounds like something I'd do, Gogs. Reminds me of many, many years ago when we went skiing for the first time. My BinL taught skiing and we had basic tips etc in advance. One thing was never to stand with your back down the slope. We were all there (on the baby slopes) and he said something, I turned around ... yep, backwards, and off I went down the slope, arms flailing, me squealing and landed in a mound of snow at the bottom. None of us could stop laughing! :D :D :D

Enjoy some of those berries for me, too! [IMG]
