Hi all, there is a large section of woodland behind our garden and as our house is a relatively new build, I think our garden actually used to be some of the woodland. There is one small corner shaped bed at the back of the garden which is quite shady and damp. For the last few weeks said bed has been covered in a blanket of straggly weed with tiny orange flowers on. I spent a few hours pulling it all out only to go back two days later and it was covered again. Anyone got any ideas what this is and if there is a long term fix to prevent it returning again?

Thanks for you help in advance

    Hmm!
You pic is not very sharp. So I cannot be positive.
    It may be Lysimachia nummularia.

Lysimachia nummularia, picture 1 of 1

    This loves moist wet areas.
As it spreads it grows new roots.
Have a look at the leaves. Are they opposite each other. Have a look at 2nd link for several very good close ups.

Just one small problem..... it has yellow flowers!
