Some time ago I got an email that Dobies where giving away these blight beating tomatoes, I applied straight away and almost immediately got another mail saying the offer was now closed. I thought no more of it but today I received two of these crimson crush plants through the post. Now potted on and in the greenhouse.

I wonder if anyone else is growing these this year?

    Steve...:)

Steve, a mate was supposed to order a bunch of these and then spread them around for a group to try, but ..... he forgot to order them. So I'll be watching your experiment with interest (though I've only had blight once in recent years).

    Steve,
I'd be very interested to see how these go - will you be growing them in the polytunnel? I bought a polytunnel to try and avoid blight so my toms are in there. However, I've grown some Ferline from seeds which I'm going to try outside to see if they really are blight resistant. Trying to avoid a trailer load of blighted tomatoes going to the tip this year!

I'm growing Fantasio, supposedly blight resistant.
