Blight cure

    Hi anyone know of a cure for Blight please just found it on my 2nd earlies for Xmas :cry3:

    There isn't a 'cure' but you can help reduce the chances of it starting and to a lesser extent reduce the spread once started by spraying with Bordeaux mixture, or Dithane (if still available).
    If it hasn't gone too far you can help slow the spread by removing and binning any infected leaves.

      Thanks Dave cut the infected leaves off & went & got some stuff from garden centre & gave them a good spraying hope it works or no new spuds with the Xmas dinner

      I heard that Dithane was being banned, but I saw some in the garden centre a couple of weeks ago. It is a bit better than Bordeaux Mixture (the only other alternative) in my opinion for controlling blight. Which ever you bought you will need to keep applying it as per the instructions to keep the blight under control madmick :dbgrtmb:
