I've just received an automatic email notifying me of a 'Full Smith Period' in the local area.
The site "Blight Watch" is primarily concerned with potato blight, but tomatoes are also affected.

Just received my full smith period warning for the EX10 area - thats Exeter and surrounds and its only June.

I see there is an Europe one, but it doesn't appear to be quite as good as the one for the UK. I sprayed my spuds today to be on the safe side
