    Hi all,

I 've never grown Chrysanthemums before so excuse me if this seems like a daft question.

Can I grow these in large pots/containers. They're the sort that you grow for the sprays of flowers for cutting.

    Thanks
    Anthony

Doesn't look like it - rather surprising. I remember all the old Chrysanth shows that were packed with them, maybe they have fallen out of fashion?

Chrysanthemums can be stunning flowers. In Italy they are used a lot for cemeteries I am guessing because of the time of their flowering which is Autumn and the day of the dead is start November. Anyway, sure, they can be grown in pots but they will be less resistant than grown in the ground. Rather what you want to pay attention is that they flower at times when other flowers don't.
