Once again our"Village" is looking grand.
I took a few pictures on my walkabout while on my way to the dentist this morning.
    Looking really grand out there.
    Enjoy...

Seems early for Wisteria? (or late for Cherry blossom ...) I think of Wisteria coming after Cherry blossom

Interesting. Wisteria must be late around here then ... I suppose I thought the ratio between plants was much of a much-ness.

After seeing this thread I've made a point of looking at more wisterias around here and most are 'full' in flower with an odd one or two even in full leaf with the flowers looking like they're already past their best !!!!

Yes, it must be this warm dry weather that brought some plants forward. I've got plants in the garden that are about 3 weeks ahead of their normal time.

The blossom is stunning and we've been so lucky that the wind hasn't blown it away early. On my travels on the top deck of the bus I've enjoyed the trees so much this year. Seeing the blossom "eye to eye" especially the magnolias has been delightful. Enough to brighten the dullest of souls

      Beautiful!
I'm lucky enough to live on a tree lined street, and 99% of the trees are cherry blossom (except the one outside our house, that died and they replaced it with something much more boring - my mum says it's a lime, I'm not sure).
