We had a lovely thread last year on blossoms, so I'll start one for this year as it's Almond Blossom time here ...

Pretty as a picture, Sis. I especially like the last photo taken against the blue sky.

Lovely blossoms LoL, eagerly awaiting the spring blossoms in our part of the world especially so this year as we have a cherry blossom tree in our rear garden and the buds are coming along nicely.

Thank you Sis, pip, Celia, Fonzie and Cutie. [IMG]

I'm looking forward to you guys adding your blossoms as they develop through the Spring (we had a beautiful thread last year) because that's what it's all about ... I'm just a wee bit earlier than you so kick-starting it. [IMG]

I'm afraid you won't see any blue skies here as I've been out photographing in the drizzle.

The Magnolias are now in full bloom ...

Sorry the last one is not so clear but I was trying to hold a bloom that I could actually reach at arm's legth but think I obviously need longer arms. [IMG]

Thank you walnut and strongy. Forgot to say that I was holding the bloom that I could reach because of the size of them ... I don't know how big the blooms are in the UK but this one is not even open! They will soon be over here ... as you can see by the carpet around the tree and now we are having torrential rain and wind which will quickly get rid of the rest as it did my beautiful almond blossoms. :(

Now I'm looking forward to you guys putting up your spring blossoms. I think I should have put this in Members Gallery rather than Trees ... but, ne'r mind, we'll all enjoy them wherever they are. [IMG]

SAD is one of the reasons why I left England, seriously. [IMG]

I can tolerate it here because I know when it's coming ... and going (usually brief periods) ... and I occupy myself accordingly in between. :D

First buds of the Cercis siliquastrum (Judas Tree) appeared with the rains this week and it's still heaving with seed pods ...
