Anyone know if its ok for blue tits to feed their young sunflower hearts? I put them out for the goldfinches but the tits are constantly at the feeder. Thanks

I don't have any technical knowledge but the tits have been eating my sunflower seeds for years and they seem quite happy with it. All four nesting pairs of blue tits this year are eating them. :dbgrtmb:

So are all the other birds :). They're getting through 16kg a month at the moment :hate-shocked:

Our squirrels can't get past the squirrel guard so they just help clear up the seeds that drop.

The blue tit is SO fussy. He throws two or three seeds on the floor at each visit. Fortunately the robin is around to tidy up
