    Hi all

I've just harvested a grand total of 3 quarters of a cup full of ripe blueberries so my lovely missus can make me some Blueberry muffins. Trouble is, she said she needed more than that, but there are no more. However I have some juicy goosegogs on the bush next to the Blueberries. Will that go or will it be weird?

Problem solved now. The wife and I decided to have a muffin making contest. We divided up the flower, eggs etc. She got the Blueberries and I went to the corner shop for dark chocolate, white chocolate, coffee and chocololate powder, which I put in my half of the mix, along with a drop of brandy. I reckon I'll win:)

I also can reccomend redcurrant muffins - bright and colourful and a bit tangy
A touch of cinnamon compliments the flavour
They are also much more productive than blueberries - enough on one bush for 100 muffins!

Thanks Lovage, I'll get myself a few current bushes next year.

Oh, and I won by the way:gnthb: The wife and I both agreed that my chocolate, coffee and brandy muffins were marginally nicer than her blueberry ones:)
