My interesting dasylirion is flowering for me and continues to put up a quite substantial flower spike.

Also I can't remember the poster who asked the question, but these are two identical trachys. They were bought and planted at the same time as identical plants. One was planted in a pot, the other in the ground. The Pot planted trachy has grown very little and the other shows exactly why these palms need to go in the ground to make the most of them.

Lush as always, Babe. Wish I had some of your rain. [IMG]

Saying about the trachys ... I bought two identical Jacarandas about 5 foot tall and planted them in the ground in different locations and they are night and day sizewise. I photograph the smaller one most of the time which is bushier. Could only figure it, the smaller, is on rock base and the taller is in more earth ... none so queer as plants at times. :D

Lush is the word BM, really marvellous. I especially like the first picture where I can see bamboo, fern and all sorts of other greenery.

Brilliant BM. The wet summer has been quite beneficial in many ways.

Thanks everyone, yes the brug is a new venture for me this year Walnut, no buds yet. It did have another stem but the heavy rain snapped it early on.

The deck planting was something I always wanted to do, merging each stage of the garden into each other and ultimately to the house.

You can see how things have changed somewhat from building it a few years ago.

Please, please, can I have some of your rain, Babe?

What is that lovely striped leaf ... saw it further up and now your last picture?

Guess that's the Catalpa under the spider? Haven't decided if I'll do any of the seeds as I have no room for the tree. Stu just kept picking things ...
