[IMG] Looking so good BM despite your new winter regime.. ;) Worth all your time mate... [IMG] Looks like you are a little bit ahead of me in some things.. My anamones are not up as much as yours, no sign of my Eucomis yet.. My magnolia is starting to flower despite the weather.. [IMG]
:( I do think I have lost my Banana Ensete... It has been in the heated green house, but for some reason it didn't make it through this winter.. It would have been it's second winter.. Any ideas why BM..??

It might be ok, but I have had very mixed success with ensete. I am not as experienced with them as the basjoos but the succes I did have was by keeping them in growth. The minute they start to dry out I got the strangles which is where they dry to the point that a new leaf becomes clogged and it all ends badly. See how it goes, providing its not a squidgy mess its worth hacking back to the good stuff and putting it in full sun in a warm spot to encourage the centre stem to get going. I did this with a sickly 'siki' last year and it took a while but it did recover. [IMG]
