Hopefully by the end of this week I will have fiished the wildlife pond. Nothing too big just 10x6x2 well planted and no fish. Between it and the fence is a space of about 4 - 5ft. I have an old liner from a previous pond and intend to dig this area up pierce the liner then refill with the soil I dug out. This will give me a strip about 12ft x 4ft which will be boggy. How deep do I need to dig to allow for the plants roots to go down. Any recomendations for planting ? or links to a site that covers this type of project.
