Is it too late to apply bonemeal now? I'll be putting on roses old and newly planted and same for succulents. All container grown. Cheers

Bonemeal delivers a source of calcium, phosphorous (and nitrogen). It will need to decompose naturally to make these elements available to soil organisms which will feed the roots of your plants. It is thought of as a 'slow release' source, giving continuing supply for an extended period. Do not expect a visible benefit in the immediate timescale.
In that regard, its never too late..
