Googling "growing for showing" does not readily throw up the one I use - George Whitehead's book "Growing for Showing" - Publisher: Faber and Faber (24 April 1978), ISBN-10: 0571112064 or ISBN-13: 978-0571112067 Was that amongst your Amazon purchases?
