First time growing them this year.... I know I could Google the info, but would rather have the advice from someone who's grown them before.

So when do I know that they are ready , and when they are, what is the best way of storing, I'm guessing drying them out and storing on a sealed jar ?

    Thanks in advance

I'd like to grow these next year, did you grow them in a tunnel or outside?

    Outside, just like runner beans.

If you'm growing them just for the dried beans then leave them on the plant till it's dead and dry, very easy to shell them then.

If you want to eat the pods and all, then pick them before the beans swell up :spinning:

They go nice with some butter, mashed potato and fried sea horse :)

My thoughts on picking them off now was that the plant may produce more as some have been picked off.

That's true, you could keep picking and they'll keep coming on, nicer to have young pods now than a handful of dried beans that you could buy for next to nothing from a shop :spinning:
