    Hello All
I am currently doing a Horticulture qualification and need to research the Bosch Rotak 36 Rotary Lawnmower. As well as specifications I need opinions from third parties on the mower. If you have or had one please let me know what you think of it.

    Hello Jenny
do you mean the Bosch Rotak 36 ? ( not the Bosch total 26 rotary ? )
I have used the Bosch Rotak 36 for about 7 years now . It is a good quality solidly built machine . Grass box is large enough not too need emptying all the time , plus it doesn't fall off . Height adjustment is good and simple . When required it has ample power to hack down wet grass.
Looking at the new handle design not too sure how practical a 4 button design is . I prefer the long deadmans handle safety device , its easier to grip and change hands.
When the time comes for a new lawnmower this would be on top of the list.

I bought one from B&Q last year (think it was the '36') and found it to be excellent. I find the handles a bit uncomfortable when using it for any length of time but that's a minor gripe.

Like Harry said, the grass box is well fitted so doesn't come off like it did on my previous Flymo mower. It cuts very short so you don't have to mow as often, which I like.

It doesn't mow right up to the edge as is advertised, but it's almost there (certainly the best I've used).

If you're doing a project on it, it may be worth looking at the user reviews on Amazon.
