I found some years old Bottlebrush seeds while scratting around in my friends shed [IMG] Never thought for a minute they would grow, but I popped them in a mini-propogator made from a plastic bottle, gave them a blast on the radiator and hey presto, this morning we have tiny seedlings [IMG] [IMG] I know Nature did it not me, but I can't help feeling a little bit smug [IMG] I wonder if I can keep them going??
    Any tips anyone?

Thanks Walnut [IMG] [IMG] That sounds really promising then, as we're a bit warmer down here too [IMG] They're so tiny at the moment, it's hard to imagine they can become that size!

I was going to offer(Callistemon) Bottlebrush seeds to anyone as I have about 4 varieties, you obviously don't need any Windy!
They may not flower for 3/4 four years depending on speed of growth, planted position etc.
I have some of the following seeds available.
    C. Salignus (yellow) C. Pallidus (yellow)
    C. Citrinus Splendens (Red) C.Viminallis (red weeping small tree) and C. Mauve Mist (deep pink/mauve). PM me if anyone wants any.

Strongy I wish I could accept your kind offer of seeds but we have such a small garden and no more room [IMG]

Took this pic last month. Botanical Gardens, I-O-W, they were the first I'd seen, they are now being used for my card making. I print them onto photograpy card and they look startling [IMG]

Nice pic Brandy, although they are bottlebrush shape they are Banksias not the Callistemon Bottlebrush that I was offering. Banksias are not easy to grow unlike Callistemons which germinate like cress and can be restricted by pruning. I have a very small garden and Callistemon Bottlebrushes grow well in pots. [IMG]
