Hi everyone, my garden in nearly ready for the new lawn after many weeks of digging. Can you advise on planting box hedging, they are quite small and have been in their pots since the Chelsea flower show (one of the gardeners there gave them to me).

yes, but don't be tempted to get there too quickly. Trim them well each year then they will make a much thiscker bushier hedge.

give them regular feeds, and also remember they will grow wider so don't start off by planting too close to where you want them to end up.

Also keep a few spares in pots if you have room as you can loose the odd plant, so they are useful for filling in.
