bracken or fern??

    I have this growing near my pond and would like to know if I should keep it or get rid of it. I think it might be bracken but am not sure. Help with it please!!!

    LOL! It looks nicer in the photo than it does for real hehehehehe!!

    That's a fern... and nothing to wory about

    Braken has the fronds coming off tall stems, ferns (except a few rare ones) come from a central rosette

    Well that's a relief!!! I have a few that have just come up on their own and was a bit worried they were going to take over the garden!! A few of them, that one included, I have transplanted to other areas of the garden. I didn't realise it would get so big though!!! I am probably going to move it again after it dies off as it is just taking up too much space where it is. Thanks Quercus for the info!!
