    Hahahaha ... Brilliant thanks. It looks JUST like the Veratrum nigrum (which I also took a photo of and WAS labelled :) ). Being a complete divot I failed to put 2 & 2 together :heehee:

    Love it. I always thought veratrum was predominantly a foliage plant, hadn't realised it was all-round showy.
