    Hey there everyone,
I haven't been on her in a long time but it's the season again and I want to get my lawn tidied up with some nice brick edging and also providing a mower strip.
The problem is my lawn slopes and is a sort of quarter circle shape so if I was to lay brick edging what would be the best way to do so?
I am going to do it properly with cement so it is fixed in place and not just hammered down and also what depth from the grass should I lay the brick ? I have read on some forums to lay the brick about 3/4-1 inch above the thatch layer is this correct ? And experienced gardners with advice is greatly appreciated thanks in advance ;)

Won't you have problems mowing up to the edge if the bricks are higher?
If the site slopes you will either have to decide to raise up some of the area to make it all one level, or have a step in it at some point. I think this would be easier to manage and get it looking neat and professional than trying to make a slope.
How big is your lawn - this might have a bearing on your decision?
