ideas welcome please. we have a small wall in the back garden which is of those concrete blocks with holes in them, just one block high if you know what i mean. they were there when we bought the house many years ago. it is a split level garden and they were right across the kitchen and lounge windows with steps leading down to the garden from where the lounge window was then we had a conservetary built so half of the blocks are gone, the other half is near the kitchen window, and below them is soil where i have flowers in the summer. i hate the blocks and one year i put plants in the holes but they still didnt'look very nice so i covered them over last year with baboo strips that come on a roll, but the bad weather was so bad it has got discoloured and looks horrible now, any ideas anyone what to cover the bricks with?

    Hi Weekend Gardener.

Water-garden's idea of rendering the blocks and painting them might work really well all you have to do is find a colour that best suits your garden you could go for something that blends in with your garden or be bold and have something that stands out really funky and say's 'Look at me'.Hel.xxx.
