Nearer Nantwich than Stoke, but still. Taken over by Wyevale recently so changed a bit. Probably the price setter for most GC.s in the north so sometimes a bit expensive. We have bought many things from their sales, but rarely managed to persuade ourselves to pay full price from them. Used to sell a really good range of alpines, but not anymore sadly.
The display gardens are worth a wander round though. We visit about once every month, just for the walk.
Stapely we find as a g/c had gone really downhill over the last few years, expensive and not that good quality, other than for the water plant stuff.

Been to Bridgemere twice in the past both on the way to Wales and I enjoyed both times. The walk around the 'garden world' is a real 'must' to see remember to take your camera as you are sure to get some design ideas from them and well worth the visit just to see the gardens never mind buy any plants!:D

Called at Stapely Water gardens too as it is really pretty close to Bridgemere but I thought that Stapely was a bit too posh for me back then strange I say that as I do remember them having a water feature made out of toilets! Hel.xxx.

I remember being there maybe 7 years ago :)
We visited friends in Crewe and they took us to Bridgemere (near Nantwich)
It was an interesting day out, and they sold loads of things besides plants ... wifey bought a set of cutlery for the BBQ :)
Stapely was fairly close by as I recall
Well, OK, I haven't added much to the thread, but I just had to let you know that I knew what you were talking about :D :D :D
