Thanks to Marley Farley's advice in my beginner thread, I'm off to do some shopping for some Guzmanias this weekend.

Anyone from the Brighton area have any local recommendations of where to shop?

Google came up with Wyevale's as their first choice, just at the top of Elm Grove, and I rang them and they have some in stock.

I know there are some quite nice centres over Henfield way and up the A23, but being a weekend, I don't fancy driving out of town and then spending hours trying ot get back in again. Any advice is appreciated.

There's Old Barn Nurseries on the A24 about 6 miles south of Horsham. A bit of a warehouse, but they do some bargains (6 mini perennials for £10 as an example).

I'll check with my boss tomorrow - a keen gardener and a Hove resident, and come back to you.
