    Hello there!
I have just got an allotment in Bristol (345 sq ft) and am looking for all the help and advice I can get.
I'm new to gardening outside of pots, but I'm looking forwards to learning! The patch is going to be totally organic and nature friendly (rotten log piles, etc.) and I'm planning on planting as
many native and 'wild' plants as is practical.
My main interest is medicinal plants, being a qualified herbalist, and I'm keen to cultivate the older varieties of flowers, herbs and even
weeds that have been used in medicine in Britain for thousands of years.
I expect I'll be back here several times over the next few weeks as I get to grips with how this gardening stuff works!
I'd love to hear from other Bristol gardeners.
    Wish me luck!
    Lauren

    Garden Sponge - LOL!!

Hi, Melissa, and welcome! You'll have to make contact with Wildflower - she's a herbalist - as you've probably seen by now, in the Herbs and Wildflowers section.
