I have some broad beans which I potted just over a week ago and kept indoors that have sprouted and shot to about 12 - 18 inches high. When can I put them outdoors into the ground? They are 'aquadulce' and the pack says they are suitable for outdoor growing from October so is it safe for them to go out. I'm in the South West and I still think we have a frost or two left before we are out of the woods! At this rate though the conservatory is going to look like an Amazon Rain Forest :)

    Many thanks

    Morning MrMorgan .
They have got a little tall, perhaps due to poor light.
I would just put them outside in a very sheltered place for a few days just to harden then off a while . Then plant them out . If you don't have a lot you could give them a little protect with some fleece for a little while . Then will take a few frosts but just need to harden up ..Hope that helps
    Dave
