Just like to report beans in flower ! Also had a few pickings of rocket self sown, and perpetual spinach real nice in salads whilst young, when I planted rocket last year the insects ate most of it but either they have not found it,or they lost the taste for it. :D

My rocket was mostly untouched...possibly it's a more peppery variety that's self sown? If so, it's a living example of survival of the fittest.

      Hi Rosie.

Wild rocket self-seeds every year in my garden. Some plants even overwinter well if sheltered. The cultivated rocket I tried once, doesn't seem so hardy - I have to re-plant from saved seeds each year. It's a milder taste. nice though.... [IMG]
