I want to change my service from my present provider (virgin:mad:) -which is stealing my money with any possible trick- to a more serious company which provides a transparent service where what you see it is actually what you get.
Any advice? (being that I do not need any extra services like telephone or tv channels etc.).

:thumb: Hi Miraflores, try O2, I know several people with them & they are very pleased, free calls no download limits.. I am with BT & am satisfied with them.. They all have perks you just need to decide what your needs are I think.. Good Luck with it all as it is a pain changing, but we all need to occassionaly.. My nephew is with Virgin & he is so sick of them too..!!

i loved BT, it was reliable and the wireless router was brilliant, cud even sit with my lappy in the garden.

i swapped to talktalk cos they promised "free" BB cos i had calls with them. not only did they turn round and say "you're not in one of our areas, so BB will be £10 a month" but the BB is useless and the wireless router barely reaches in the other room, let alone outside! and the amount of surveys i've lost money on cos the wireless cuts me off, is horrendous! I should have stayed with BT :(

but ive seen the ads for O2 and they look good :)

Tell Virgin you're leaving them and they'll probably offer you a stupidly cheap deal. That's what they did with me, I'm now paying £10 a month for 2mb broadband, phone with free weekend + evening calls and the basic TV package. :gnthb:
