Broadbean problem

    Don't know whether that worked or not.
    I planted three broadbeans in a 12" pot two come up the right colour but the third is as shown here. What's happened?

    apparently they occasionally grow lacking in something that causes weak plants of an insipid colour. I dont know enough about it really but it looks like a 'dodgy bean'.

    I bought dwarf green beans 5 for £1 at our local garden shop .looking real healthy not sure as too what type they are.

    Yes sawfish I think I came that same conclusion. The other two are going out today. Although the tap root looked fine don't you think?

    John, plant it and see what happens. I think it`s unable to make chlorophyll. I`d like to see how it developes.:D:thumb:

    I have an idea it may be OK, but will always be a bit behind the others, its the runt.

    Sorry John, can't replant it it's in the composter now. Might see if I can salvage it though when I get home from work.
