Hi everyone, about a month ago I accidentally broke off a branch of a 30 yo yucca:doh:my first thought was stick it in water, after 3 weeks nothing was showing so early last week I filled the bottle with rain water and now i see a few roots, can anyone tell me how much of a root system it will need to pot it up?

I find they root if you just pot them up after letting the cut end callous over.
Burying the stem means you get roots coming out from all buried parts.

I'd pot it up before the roots get so long you end up breaking them.

Yes, I agree with Pete here ... just stick in soil/potting compost and off you go.
