Give her my best wishes for a speedy recovery - and my sympathy to you as well. It's going to be less time on GC and more time pampering for a while. :D

Oh Ste I so feel for your good lady wife I do so hope she can get comfy and of course pain free pretty soon, it's terrible not to be able to do even the simple things in life.

I'm sure with your help she will make a quick, easy recovery and I'm sure it will not hurt you being at her beck and call as you say 'it goes with the ring'.

Here's to a speedy recovery Mrs.Intermiplants and I agree with you dear lady hell would have to freeze over before I would let anyone cut off my wedding band!

sorry to hear about mrs imps fall. hope she is not in too much pain. like has been said, our best wishes.
hopefully she will not have to have pins in. it's a funny thing, but true, that you don't realise what you have until you lose it. that counts for physical as well as emotional things.
keep up the running around for her - she does appreciate it i'm sure. you may need it one day.
nothing wrong with jam butties as long as they haven't been licked by the dog first :D
bet she's getting quite an expert now at doing things one handed.
    cheers
