The leaves on my Fuscia have started to go a bronze colour, anyone know what's causing this?

    Hi,
What is the name of your fuchias, as some of them turn a bronze colour as part of their make-up in the autumn

It could be ok. But I am a bit worried about the spots on the leaves.
If the picture was a bit clearer, it might help.

Are you keeping it well watered and fed? We have had some really hot weather this past week, [at last!] and I've noticed in the past that the leaves of fuschias which have dried out show this sort of colouration.

That is one stressed fuchsia from what I can see - and from the look of the compost overwatering may be the problem. Check the compost - if its very damp then that is likely to be your problem.

What I find works best in that situation is take it out of the compost remove it from around the roots carefully. Then pot in a 50/50 mix of compost and vermiculite. Give a light drink and stand in a shady cool part of your patio.
