Our usual Autumn visit, unfortunately for the BBC and Autumn Watch, the (34) Spoonbills moved over to Brownsea just before they came.

    Avocet, one of hundreds.

Wednesday was despite the dull forecast, a brilliant sunny day.

Red Squirrels were not showing themselves much this time and not feeding on the ground but the Sika came close.

Brownsea NT holiday cottages (the end two) despite the outside appearance they are very modern inside and have fantastic views over Poole harbour and Brownsea lagoon.

I love them all, so thank you for sharing them with us, but my particular favourites have to be the Kingfisher and the Sika :wub2:

 Oh and the woods with the sunshine spilling through the trees (had to cover Ozzy's eyes before I could scroll down to that one!) :blue thumb:

:think3: and the holiday cottages (fabulous location!)

Who needs AutumnWatch when we have our Strongy :dbgrtmb:

Thanks @"M" but I failed to get any shots of the squirrels this time.:frown:
A shame but a no-go area for Ozzy.

Pity about the squirrels though; you'll just have to go back next year :dbgrtmb:
